L O S T - Episode 1.01, Pilot Part 1 We open on Jack’s eye - closed. No, wait, it’s open now. Lots of tension. Poor innocent Jacko, he has no idea what he’s about to get himself into. Cue Vincent. Jack is injured - the perfect excuse to meet...well, we’ll get to that. Cue the first of many, many, MANY future running-through-the-jungle scenes. The beach seems calm...until we pan a little further left. Shannon screams, people stand around, not sure what to do because they’re not hero/leaders like our good buddy Jack. We see Charlie, Jin, we hear Michael’s first ever cries of “WALT!” They won’t be his last, but first-time viewers don’t know that yet. Jack’s ready to jump into hero mode. And he’s off!
